Tom Cruise was reportedly involved in a high speed car chase through New York City today.
The actor was taking six-year-old daughter Suri out when they were apparently followed by the paparazzi.
Tom had spent the night with his little one for the first time in a month following estranged wife Katie Holmes filing for divorce while he was filming Oblivion in Iceland in June.
But The Daily News alleges that the chase through Manhattan involved Tom's driver trying to evade a number of photographers hot on their tail.
They eventually arrived at a heliport safely and Tom was seen carrying Suri on to a helicopter for a ride over the Big Apple and "seemed happy," a source told People.
Tom and Katie came to a swift divorce settlement with the actress reportedly receiving primary custody and Tom being allowed "meaningful" visitation with the youngster.
Meanwhile, Katie enjoyed some alone time today and took in a spin class at SoulCycle.
