Tom Cruise has reportedly made an agreement with Katie Holmes to look after their daughter Suri this Christmas.
The actor began filming sci-fi movie All You Need Is Kill in England shortly after his July divorce settlement with Katie Holmes.
He hasn't seen Suri in quite a while and is looking forward to spending time with his tyke over the holidays.
"By the time Christmas comes, Tom won't have seen Suri for a long time," a source told British newspaper The Sun.
"So he's agreed with Katie that it's only right she stays with him."
Tom is apparently planning to fly into New York City, where Katie and Suri reside, to pick up his daughter. He and Suri will then fly back to the UK to celebrate Christmas at a rented house in the Lake District or Scotland.
The star is looking forward to a respite from work.
"Filming has been extended until after Christmas, so he will appreciate the break," the source said.
The actor sued US tabloid Life & Style for defamation seeking $50 million in damages last week for claiming that he was a negligent father.
