Tom Hanks a grandfather again
Tom Hanks' son, Colin Hanks, has welcomed his second child with wife Samantha Bryant.
The 35-year-old former Dexter star is celebrating the birth of his baby daughter with wife Samantha Bryant.
Colin shared the news with People magazine Tuesday.
"Ms. Charlotte Bryant Hanks has decided to join us. She's as happy and healthy as we are overjoyed and tired," he mused in a statement.
Colin and Samantha married in 2010.
Charlotte will be little sister to the couple's two-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Olivia Jane.
Colin is Tom's son with his first wife, actress Samantha Lewes. The former couple also share a daughter, Elizabeth.
Tom married actress Rita Wilson the year after his nine-year marriage to Samantha ended in 1987.
The couple share two sons, Chester and Truman.
Tom became a grandfather for the first time with the birth of Olivia.
As People reports, the Colin and Samantha announced they were expecting in April when they made an appearance at the premiere of Tom's Broadway play Lucky Guy.
Colin joked shortly afterwards about leaning on his famous parents in the early stages of parenthood.
"They cannot wait to just dote on this kid with every single fiber of their being," he told People after Olivia's birth.
"My wife and I are more than happy to give them our baby and say, 'Here, watch her while we take a nap!'"
