Tom Hanks: I have ambitions

Tom Hanks

Tom Hanks says there is "so much more" he wants to do in life.

The 56-year-old is one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, having won a host of awards, and is happily married to Rita Wilson. Tom is thankful for all his personal and professional achievements, but insists he has no plans to slow down any time soon.

"I still have a lot of plans, I want to do so much more," he told German magazine Bunte.

Tom realises that if he wants to continue juggling a hectic workload with his personal commitments, he may need to pay more attention to his health. The star accepts he should visit the gym more often and follow a sensible diet, but is relieved he doesn't have too many unhealthy habits.

"At least I have never been a smoker and, unlike other men from previous generations, I don't get drunk at 4.30 in the afternoon," he laughed.

While Tom could improve his exercise and eating regimes, the actor remains relatively stress free. He insists that bottling up your worries can have harmful consequences.

"I've never lost sleep because I was worrying too much about stuff. Things that drive other people mad, I just ignore or forget about," he added.

Gemini:

You never do anything in moderation. Attend every fun party, accept every juicy offer and try all the delectable treats spread before you. Avoid unpleasant people and activities like the plague. This should be a time of enjoyment. Leave your list of chores at home. You can always attend to these jobs at another time. If you have a chance to show your creative work to a publisher, manager or agent, go ahead. This is also a great opportunity to go on job interviews, auditions and first dates.More
