Tom Hanks looking for home buyer
Tom Hanks has listed his Los Angeles home in the posh Pacific Palisades area for over $5.2 million.
The 56-year-old actor and his wife Rita Wilson purchased the residence in the city’s posh Pacific Palisades neighbourhood in 1998, according to America’s OK! magazine.
The four-bedroom, five-and-a-half bathroom property spans 6,289-square-feet.
Real-estate website Zillow.com shows pictures of the home, described as a “legendary” Spanish-style villa built in 1929.
The listing describes several luxury amenities.
A master suite features a fireplace, private beauty salon and terrace with ocean views.
The home also boasts high surrounding walls and hedges befitting potential buyers looking for more privacy.
“The classic house has decorated archways and frescoed ceilings with chandeliers. The highlight of the home is the many loggias and patios - each surrounded by lush greenery and gardens,” the listing continues.
Tom and Rita don’t live in the residence anymore.
The couple reportedly upgraded to another Pacific Palisades property purchased for $26 million three years ago and are looking to unload their old real-estate.
Tom and Rita married in 1988. The couple share two sons and he has a son and a daughter from his first marriage to actress Samantha Lewes.
The actor is currently in New York starring in Nora Ephron’s Broadway play Lucky Guy.
