Tom Hiddleston busts a move at TV BAFTAs bash

Tom Hiddleston once again showed off his moves at the TV BAFTAs after party on Sunday night (08May16) as he had a dance off with Sherlock actor Martin Freeman.

Tom Hiddleston broke out his best moves on Sunday night (08May16) in a dance off with Martin Freeman.

The 35-year-old British actor hit the headlines last week (02May16) when a video emerged of him dancing at the Met Gala with Taylor Swift. And Sunday saw him dust off his dancing shoes once again as he celebrated at an after party following the star-studded British Academy of Film and Television Arts: Television Awards at the Royal Festival Hall in London, England.

In the early hours of Monday morning (09May16), Tom decided to take over the DJ booth at the bash to put on some Michael Jackson tunes to bust a move to.

British singer Dani Rayner, who first made a name for herself on talent show Over The Rainbow and now works for the BBC, posted on Twitter that she had been involved in a dance contest with The Night Manager star Tom and Sherlock actor Martin, writing: "Just had a dance off with Tom Hiddleston and Martin Freeman - it can only be #BAFTATV."

At the Met Gala, Tom and Taylor became an Internet sensation after Valentino brand ambassador Carlos Souza posted a video on Instagram of the unlikely pals showing off their best moves to rapper T.I.'s hit 2004 song Bring Em Out.

In another clip, the Thor star twirled Taylor, who co-chaired the event, to Beyonce's Crazy in Love.

But Tom said afterwards that he hadn't expected the response to the video, telling the Press Association: "It's a weird one (that it went viral). I didn’t know it was going to ping round the world, but it’s all good.

"I love dancing, who doesn't? I haven't actually danced for a long time, but I happened to be dancing at the Met Gala, because it was a party."

He explained, "I was on a table with Taylor Swift and The Weeknd was playing and she said, 'The thing about these parties is nobody gets up to dance.' She, as a musician, was like, 'We've got to dance for The Weeknd!' so we got up and danced."
