Tom Sizemore fired from Shooter TV show
The actor can reportedly return to the show if he is found not guilty.
Tom Sizemore has reportedly been dropped from TV series Shooter following his domestic violence arrest last month (Jul16).
The Black Hawk Down star was taken into custody in Los Angeles on 19 July (16) after an alleged physical altercation with his girlfriend, who accused Sizemore of hitting her in the head and face. He was booked for domestic violence, and was subsequently released on $50,000 (£38,430) bail.
The arrest prompted Sizemore's manager of seven years, Charles Lago, to drop him as a client, and his career has reportedly hit another roadblock after he was fired from the show.
According to TMZ.com, Sizemore can make a return to the show if he is found not guilty of the charges.
The news comes after prosecutors declined to pursue the incident as a felony because the alleged victim only suffered minor injuries. However, Sizemore is not off the hook just yet - representatives from the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office have now passed the case on to city prosecutors, who will decide whether or not to file misdemeanour charges
The 54-year-old is in the middle of a summer of woes - last month (Jul16) he reportedly ran over a stuntman with a car while filming the show at the Agua Dulce Airport in Santa Clarita, California. Sizemore was behind the wheel of a Cadillac SUV when he allegedly misunderstood a command from a stunt co-ordinator, put the car in reverse and drove away. He did not see the stuntman near the car. He was airlifted to a nearby hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
Shooter, the small screen adaptation of the 2007 action film of the same name, also stars Ryan Phillippe and Omar Epps.
