Marisa Tomei has shut down reports she's engaged to marry Prometheus star Logan Marshall-Green.
The 48-year-old actress became the subject of idle gossip earlier this week when a ring was apparently spotted on her wedding finger.
A source told InTouch magazine Logan popped the question over the holidays and she was headed down the aisle.
"Marisa Tomei once said she'd stay single forever, but obviously she's changed her mind - and she's got the ring to prove it," the insider claimed.
A spokesperson for the actress branded the rumours false on Friday.
The representative told GossipCop.com there is "no truth" to the report.
Marisa and Logan, 36, have dated on and off since 2008.
Marisa in 2009 stated she doesn't see marriage in her future.
"I'm not that big a fan of marriage as an institution and I don't know why women need to have children to be seen as complete human beings," she told America's Manhattan Magazine.
Prior to dating Logan, Marisa had been linked to Robert Downey, Jr. and Lenny Kravitz.
