Tommy Lee Jones reveals secret to married bliss

Tommy Lee Jones

Tommy Lee Jones says the key to a successful marriage is not spending too much time together.

The 66-year-old actor married his third wife Dawn Laurel in March 2001. The legendary film star claims they are still going strong over a decade later because they keep their individual personalities intact.

"My wife and I both have our separate lives," Tommy told a German news agency. "[I think] it is very important not to define your own personality through your relationship with someone."

The Men in Black 3 actor revealed how easy it is for him and wife Dawn to live separate lives. Thanks to his long career in the movie industry, Tommy owns numerous properties that he likes to visit for relaxing breaks in between shooting films.

"We have a farm in Texas where we breed horses and cattle. We also have a house in San Antonio, one in New Mexico and one in Florida," Tommy gushed. "My wife studies photography, her uni is in California. So she spends some time of the year there and I am there every now and again, too."

Virgo:

Read the fine print on a contract. If you're not happy with the proposed terms of a deal, renegotiate. Don't be afraid to drive a hard bargain. You may not realise it, but you have a great deal of power. People are willing to pay good money for someone with your intelligence and experience. If you undersell yourself, you will set a dangerous precedent. Someone will ask you to do something that goes against your conscience. Obey your principles, even if it means making an enemy.More
