Tonioli shows Lineker a few moves
Gary Lineker has been coached by Strictly Come Dancing's Bruno Tonioli for a new Walkers advert.
In the campaign, the Match Of The Day host is transformed into a light-footed hoofer as he shows off his moves to The Weather Girls' hit It's Raining Men.
Dance judge Bruno trained the former football ace for a gruelling two-day shoot, which included sliding down a bannister and prancing over a potato cart.
As well as teaching him the moves, Bruno worked on his posture and provided words of encouragement.
In the ad, Gary is seen dancing in the middle of a heavy downpour as The Weather Girls' hit plays. Makers of the ad changed the lyric to It's Raining Ten to tie in with a promotion which enables people to win £10 by predicting where and when it will rain.
The new tongue-in-cheek Walkers Rainy Days advert is set to hit UK screens on Friday October 1.
Gary said: "I really enjoyed making the advert, despite the fact that I find dancing a bit tricky and it was made even harder by the fact that I was soaking wet the whole time."
And Bruno said his protege had performed well: "It's so different from what I'm used to - I'm used to working with professional dancers.
"Gary claims he's got two left feet, but once I'd whipped him into shape, he let himself go and unleashed the dancer inside. I was so proud."
The Walkers Rainy Days promotion runs until November at walkers.co.uk and the ads begin screening from October 1.
