Tori Spelling says her husband is a mother and father "all in one".
The star has been married to actor Dean McDermott for six years, and the couple raise four children - Liam, five, Stella, four, Hattie, 12 months, and Finn, who was born in August.
The Beverley Hills, 90210 star says Dean is a brilliant father to their brood.
"Dean's a super dad," she gushed to Us Weekly.
"He's a mom and dad all wrapped up into one."
Tori faced major complications during her pregnancy with Finn, due to placenta previa, a condition in which the placenta covers the cervix.
Throughout his wife's illness, Dean was always hopeful and tried to stay upbeat.
"I couldn't fathom losing the baby or T," he explained.
"I'm perpetually hopeful. T gives me a hard time about it."
Dean cared for their three older children while Tori was in and out of hospital.
Despite the fact he was under a lot of pressure himself, the actress says he was a rock for her during the difficult time.
"He was dealing with so much, but he was always really positive," she revealed.
"We had date nights every Tuesday… Dean would spend the night at the hospital on a cot next to me and we'd talk."
