TOWIE star Jon Clark celebrates ex-girlfriend's Love Island exit

Chloe Crowhurst and Sam Gowland were booted off reality TV show Love Island on Monday (26Jun17).

The Only Way Is Essex star Jon Clark toasted his ex-girlfriend Chloe Crowhurst's exit from Love Island with a celebratory drink.

The 27-year-old reality TV star was left heartbroken when Chloe, 22, signed up for the ITV2 dating contest without telling him.

She and TV lover Sam Gowland, 21, were booted off the show on Monday (26Jun17) after their fellow contestants decided they were the least compatible couple on the show.

After watching the episode, Jon posted a video of himself in a pub enjoying a pint of beer on Instagram, toasting her exit.

"So guys after watching that episode of Love Island, karma's a b**ch, but you know, I ain't bothered," he said in the video, before swigging his beer.

Jon claimed he and Chloe were still dating when she announced she was heading to the Love Island resort in Mallorca in May. However she contested this, saying that the two were no longer together.

After learning his ex had signed up for the show, the TOWIE star, who appeared as a contestant on Love Island in 2015, posted text messages he claimed proved he and Chloe recently attended a boxing match together.

He wrote on social media: "I just want people to know who she really is! Liar!! Who does that to another human being! I couldn't do it!"

Jon also told fans he wanted to return to Love Island to confront Chloe, adding, "I feel sorry for any guy she gets with on the island!! Let me get back out there and say my piece!!"

Producers did not take him up on his offer however, and he has not travelled to Spain to confront her on camera.

The Love Island contestants are now in their fifth week of the dating compeition, with six couples remaining in with a chance of winning the £50,000 prize.
