Jane Goldman has revealed trick-or-treaters travel for miles to the house she shares with husband Jonathan Ross because of their famous Halloween parties.
Every Halloween the couple decorate their house and throw a huge party attended by all their celebrity friends - but Jane insists they only go to so much effort because they feel obliged thanks to the event becoming so infamous.
Jane said: "Halloween is my favourite seasonal holiday, so it's fun to celebrate it and it's fun to dress up - it's the most fun kind of fancy dress.
"The only thing is, because our house is decorated for Halloween, we're always the ones who get the entire community come round for trick-or-treat.
"Because we always get all the kids from the neighbourhood, and now it seems actually most of north London.
"So we tend to focus a lot on trying to make it nice and fun for them because a few people have come from quite far away to trick-or-treat at our house, so we try to make it worthwhile for them by making the front of our house look good and scary and making sure we've got plenty of sweets and Krispy Kremes and chocolates for them and hire an entertainer."
The screenwriter of Kick-Ass and X-Men: First Class has also been working on her costume for some time.
Jane revealed: "It's really nerdy actually. My general plan at the moment is I think I'm going to go as an undead rogue from World Of War Craft. I bought some tin armour from one of those medieval battle recreation websites.
"It is kind of geeky but I'm not ashamed."
