TV favourite Lorraine Kelly is set to become the queen of the jungle - as she turns children's show narrator.

The popular Daybreak star is voicing a new CBeebies series about a lion cub.

Kelly - who hosts the Lorraine Live slot each weekday - narrates the tales of Raa Raa The Noisy Lion and his friends.

The shows encourage youngsters to use a range of communication skills including gestures and facial expressions as well as words.

Raa Raa is joined on his voyage of discovery by Huffty the elephant, Topsy the giraffe, Crocky the crocodile, Zebby the zebra and Ooo Ooo the monkey.

Kelly said: "Raa Raa the Noisy Lion is a hoot. I love the idea of making learning fun for kids, and as 2011 is the National Year of Communication, this series is more relevant than ever."

The new series has been produced by the makers of Fifi And The Flowertots and Roary The Racing Car.

Raa Raa The Noisy Lion is on CBeebies at 3.30pm.

Capricorn:

Your dry humour will be very popular. It's always difficult bringing a large group of people together. Everybody feels like they are walking on eggshells. After cracking a few jokes, you'll put the group at ease. Resist the temptation to make fun of relatives, especially the more sensitive members of the group. Nobody likes feeling singled out. Watching a light hearted comedy can also be a great way to generate a festive atmosphere. This is a time when people can put their differences aside.More
