Uma Thurman: I don’t use keys
Uma Thurman has spoken about how she is “losing at the challenge” of learning Swedish with her son.
The 44-year-old actress sat down with People magazine to conduct an interview with the theme of “one last thing”.
And fortunately the last time Uma misplaced something was long ago.
“Somewhere there are 8,000 tubes of lipstick that once belonged to me,” she told the outlet. “I don't use keys, so that doesn't really apply. And very rarely I misplace my sense of humour, but usually not.”
Uma is mother to three children. She shares daughter Maya, 16, and son Levon, 13, with ex-husband Ethan Hawke and daughter Luna, two, with French financier Arpad Busson.
And when asked about the last activity she took part in with her brood, Uma noted she’s been attempting to pick up a new language.
“I've been losing at the challenge of trying to learn Swedish on the Duolingo app with my son [Levon],” she shared. “It's like the baby steps of language that you put on your phone. He's way ahead of me; it's a really cool thing.”
Uma is currently promoting her new TV series The Slap, which centres on the intense fallout after a man slaps his neighbour’s misbehaving child.
And although she’s constantly travelling to film television and movie projects, the actress makes it a point to enjoy the simple things in life.
“I think I saw the sunrise before Christmas when I was going to work early one day,” Uma said. “It was over the Brooklyn Bridge and just gorgeous.”
