Kate Upton is thrilled she spent her 21st birthday with Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann.

The model-turned-actress stars in The Other Woman, about a female who seeks revenge when she finds out her lover is actually married. It co-stars Leslie Mann and Cameron Diaz and Kate says turning 21 on set was one of the best moments. Leslie joked they spent it in the Hamptons, where they were filming, but not the "good part".

"It was still the best party!" Kate gushed to Empire magazine.

Cameron added: "It was loads of fun. The scene that day was a big dancing scene. Then we went out for dinner and did some more dancing!"

The Sports Illustrated model dated Justin Verlander in the past and it was recently rumoured they had reunited. In light of her new film about infidelity, Kate admits she has become more realistic about relationships.

"As a young woman, you're more and more aware that the fairytale relationship doesn't exist and even if it did, it may not even fit into your life," she said.

It might be Kate's first major movie role, but the star wasn't fazed. Luckily for the curvaceous blonde, she clicked with her co-stars straight away.

"It would be [intimidating], normally," Kate said. "But when you're doing it with these guys. They are my heroes. They made me feel really welcome, like I could mess up. And I think that for comedy that's the most important thing."
