Vanessa Lachey gives birth

Nick and Vanessa Lachey

Nick and Vanessa Lachey have welcomed a son into the world.

Vanessa gave birth to the little boy on Wednesday September 12. The couple have confirmed the tot's name and couldn't be happier that he has finally arrived.

"We are incredibly proud to announce the birth of our beautiful baby boy, Camden John Lachey," they told People in a statement.

"Born at 6:54 p.m., he came into this world at 8 lbs., 9 oz. and 21 inches. Love has truly been redefined for both of us."

No further details about the birth have been revealed.

The couple married in July last year and confirmed they were expecting a baby together in March.

Nick, 38, hasn't been able to contain his excitement about fatherhood recently.

"For someone who has wanted a family for such a long time, I've looked forward to this moment. Now that it's almost here, it's awesome," he said.

If you're with someone who doesn't want to spend time with you outside the bedroom, move on to greener pastures. It's sometimes difficult to face the truth of a situation like this. When in doubt, talk to a trusted friend. They'll give you an honest assessment of this bond. A relative may ask to come to their rescue. Fortunately, you have the necessary resources to bail them out.More
