Vanessa Lachey loves to watch her son Camden’s “imagination run wild”.

The American TV host and actress has two children with husband Nick, Camden and five-month-old daughter Brooklyn.

And Vanessa is shocked by how quickly her eldest tot is growing up.

“I thought at two you were still wearing onesies that said ‘Mama’s big guy,’ but he’s like a little man,” she told People magazine.

Camden has one thing in common with many other little boys, his love of superheroes and action stars. Vanessa revealed he enjoys pretending to be ‘Camden America’ with fellow actor Scott Foley’s son Keller.

“[Keller] wears capes every day to school — it’s the cutest thing — and Camden became obsessed with it so then they became the duo. Super Camden and Super Keller. It’s fun,” she smiled. “It’s fun to watch little boys let their imagination run wild and for me as a mom it’s great to see him evolve to this little person.”

Vanessa and Nick loving seeing their children develop, and are trying to make the most of the early stages of Brooklyn’s life.

“Instead of thinking about when [Brooklyn’s] going to be there and what she’s going to be like, we’re just soaking up the babyness right now and the cooing and the swaddling for nap times,” she added. “[Camden] stood and plopped down on his bottom and [Brooklyn] started laughing at him. He was recognising that he was making her laugh and so he kept saying, ‘Making baby sister laugh, making baby sister laugh.’ ”
