Vanessa Williams is proud of her versatility because "variety is the spice of life".
The star has enjoyed a singing career, modelling work and also appeared in TV shows Ugly Betty and Desperate Housewives. Her new series 666 Park Avenue is a supernatural drama and she has discussed why her career is still going strong.
"The secret is: working hard, being flexible, and [being] lucky," she told ET Online. "I can do a lot of different things. If they need a musical, I can sing and dance; if they need me to do something dramatic, I know how to do that; I like variety. Variety is the spice of life."
Although Vanessa, 49, doesn't work in fashion so much anymore, she still takes care of herself. She says they are a few easy ways which can help women look their best at all times.
"The beauty tips are: have a great glam team--hair [and] make-up, they need to know what they're doing; stay active; love what you do; and...keep it fresh," she explained.
"I've really been fortunate to be able to do what I love and I think people can tell."
