VB 'embracing change'

Victoria Beckham is happier than ever since David has retired from soccer.

The fashion designer is said to be feel more comfortable since her husband David retired from professional soccer earlier this year. Both are now able to spend more time with each other and not worry about who will look after their three sons and daughter.

"Ask anyone who knows Victoria and they'll tell you she's a changed woman. And David seems a lot happier too. After all those years, he can relax and enjoy life," an insider told British magazine Look. "Having David at home means Victoria can have an extra 20 minutes in bed. It means sometimes she can work late without worrying that the kids are wreaking havoc. Their relationship is more 50/50 these days."

Victoria showed her latest line at New York Fashion Week earlier this month. Rather than stressing over the event the brunette beauty took to the catwalk with ease and confidence and it is thought the family are in a better place than ever.

"Victoria has got so much flack over the years - she's always tried to keep her head held high and keep on pushing," the source continued. "But now I think she's finally feeling she deserves this applause and is actually enjoying it. She thinks she has proved herself."

Another friend added: "Victoria wants to work more with David and expand the Beckham empire. And she wants her kids to be inspired. Life is exciting - she's never been happier, and it shows."
