The White House had a doubling of vice presidents on Friday as Veep star Julia Louis-Dreyfus joined Joe Biden for lunch.
Julia plays vice president Selina Meyer, an ambitious but largely powerless number two, a role that hasn't gone unnoticed by Biden in the past.
The White House says that after the former Seinfeld star won an Emmy award for her performance in the first season of Veep, Biden called her to offer his congratulations.
