Vergara and Manganiello ‘engaged’
Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello are to marry, it has been reported.
The True Blood hunk is said to have popped the question to his Modern Family girlfriend on Christmas Day.
And while the pair have yet to officially announce the news, a source close to the couple told E! News that Sofia immediately said yes.
“I've never seen two people so truly in love," the insider said. "The way they talk to each other, touch each other. It's incredible."
Sofia had earlier been seen flashing what appeared to be a large diamond ring on her engagement finger.
The couple are currently on holiday in Hawaii, celebrating Joe’s 38th birthday.
Marking the occasion by posting a sweet shot alongside her beau on Instagram, Sofia wrote: “Happy happy bday to my love and best friend to the one that makes me laugh like crazy!have a healthy wonderfull year babe!!!@joemanganiello.[sic]”
Joe and Sofia started dating back in July, and quickly became one of Hollywood’s hottest couples.
They were introduced to each other at the White House Correspondents Dinner in May while Sofia was still engaged to her ex-fiancé Nick Loeb, but that didn't stop Joe from checking out her derriere.
"C'mon you can't put that in front of me. What am I supposed to do? I'm not going to apologise. I totally got busted. That was actually funny when we first started dating, months after that," he previously mused to E! News.
"We had talked, I guess, or kinda bumped into each other but we didn't start dating until she was single. She had a boyfriend at that time, so I probably could've gotten into a fight for doing that. I'm not trying to start a fight at the White House."
The engagement rumours come after Sofia opened up on her thoughts on getting married again in an interview last month.
The 42-year-old was married once before to Joe Gonzalez, ending their two-year union in 1993. But Sofia would consider tying the knot again in the future.
“Yeah, of course [I’m open to remarrying],” she told Extra. “I mean, I believe in love. I believe in being happy. I got married 24 years ago, so it would be a lot of fun to do it again."
