Vicki Michelle: CBB glass attack could have blinded me
'Allo 'Allo! star Vicki Michelle has compared the ruckus on Celebrity Big Brother's Bit on the Side to a Wild West shoot-out.
(Cover) - EN TV - TV star Vicki Michelle "could have been blinded" when she was attacked on a Celebrity Big Brother panel show on Tuesday (22Sep15).
The former 'Allo 'Allo! star was one of the guests on CBB spinoff Bit on the Side, joining Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace and US contestants Farrah Abraham, Jenna Jameson and Janice Dickinson.
During a discussion about anger issues, things turned violent on the show, with Janice throwing a chair and Farrah allegedly hurling a glass in Aisleyne's direction. Vicki wasn't a part of the argument, but unfortunately got caught in the crossfire, needing a hospital check-up afterwards.
Now she's has spoken out about the incident for the first time.
“I’m in complete and utter shock. If I had been looking the other way I could have got it full in the face, she could have blinded me. It was awful," she told Britain's Mirror newspaper.
“She whacked the glass hard like a discus. It was the base of the glass and it shattered in my hair.
“It all went off, it was like the O.K. Corral [infamous Wild West shoot-out], it was like being in a Western. I couldn’t believe that that was happening on national television."
The show was pulled off air early and host Rylan Clark apologised, seeming visibly shaken. Thanks to a time delay, bosses were able to cut before the fight could be screened.
The last thing viewers saw was Farrah referring to Aisleyne as a "hag" and the Brit star raising her champagne flute. But while she did throw her drink, the glass never left her hand.
"Things started getting heated, Farrah turned round and called her a ‘hag,’ then Aisleyne threw her glass of Cava over Farrah and me," Vicki clarified.
“That happens. X Factor does it, no one is going to get hurt, it’s part of the telly.
“Then Farrah lobbed two glasses, I got one so hard in the back of my head that my head went forward and back. It smashed on the back of my head."
Farrah's publicist wouldn't comment on the allegations but did say the star was also attacked, however refusing to name the assailant.
“Farrah was assaulted twice and received medical attention both last night and today as a result of injuries caused by one of the assaults," the Teen Mom star's spokesperson said.
