Victoria Beckham 'considering NYC move'

Victoria Beckham is reportedly keen to move to New York City.

The singer-turned-fashion designer impressed critics with her Spring/Summer 13 collection at New York Fashion Week last month, and is believed to be considering opening up a store in the city.

Her soccer star husband David Beckham is currently signed to Los Angeles Galaxy, but his contract is up for renewal in December. There have been rumours the couple may return to the UK, but now it has been claimed they want to stay in the US for the sake of their four children.

"Everything is up for discussion at the moment. David may well choose to stay at LA Galaxy, or may leave and retire. There are big conversations to be had," a source told the latest UK edition of Grazia.

"Victoria is keen to move to New York to set up her business there and open her first store. She looked at a school when she was there. There are also business opportunities for David, too."

Victoria and David hope to one day move back to England, but for now they believe America is a better option for their children's education.

It is believed the stars still haven't decided if they will leave their life in Los Angeles, but are open to relocating in the near future.

"London would suit Victoria because that is where her design studio is and, as a family, they love the energy there. But it would be a big move and lifestyle change for the children, and David and Victoria aren't sure they're ready to make that sacrifice," the source added. "Ultimately, David has to decide what he wants for his future and how that affects his family."

Victoria, 38, has openly discussed how happy she is in the US. The family moved there in 2007 and her kids - Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, ten, Cruz, seven and 15-month-old Harper - have embraced the lifestyle too.

"I love living in America. I embrace living in America, but I am British, David is British, the kids are British, and we're very, very proud of that," she revealed earlier this year.
