Victoria Beckham: I potato paint
Victoria Beckham loves taking part in arts and crafts sessions at an exclusive children’s club in London with her daughter Harper.
The singer-turned-fashion designer recently returned to the UK and is living in London with her four children. The British star was quizzed about her ‘secret’ London pleasures and revealed she enjoys visiting an exclusive children’s arts and crafts club in Battersea with 19-month-old Harper, as well as shopping for stationery.
"Potato printing at the Purple Dragon with Harper and stocking up with stationery at Mount Street Stationers,” she told British newspaper The Telegraph.
The family relocated from the US at the end of last year, after soccer star David Beckham left Los Angeles Galaxy.
He has signed a deal with French team Paris Saint-Germain and will be based in Paris, with Victoria and the kids living in London and visiting whenever they can.
Although Victoria is happy to be back in the UK, she has previously confessed to missing her sunshine-soaked life in Los Angeles.
When asked if there is anything she would change about the UK city, Victoria showed she is still adjusting to the British wintertime, replying: “The lack of sunlight.”
Victoria also revealed she believes the public’s perception of her has changed in recent years.
The star shot to fame in the Spice Girls, before pursuing a successful career in fashion, and she feels more accepted in her homeland now.
"People like me now," she replied when asked what has altered since she last lived in the UK.
During the interview, Victoria also advised visitors to London to watch ballet at the Royal Opera House and revealed she loves going to a “private” restaurant in the upmarket Mayfair area.
The star was also asked what the last thing she saw at the theatre was, and showed her fierce loyalty to her Spice Girl roots.
"Is that a trick question? Viva Forever!, of course," she smiled.
