Victoria Beckham ‘relies on caffeine boost’

Victoria Beckham has apparently worried her husband David by using caffeine to give her energy.

The fashion designer has experienced a hectic few months. Her family have moved from America back to the UK following the end of her husband David's stint at soccer club LA Galaxy and she's shown two collections at New York Fashion Week.

It seems her schedule has caught up with her, with Victoria turning to caffeine to give her energy.

"Victoria seems exhausted and has been having double espressos to stay alert," a source told Heat magazine. "But she always puts everyone else first and, as well as her hectic schedule, she's still a doting mum to her four kids."

The star is known for her slim figure, which snapped back into shape quickly following the birth of her daughter Harper in summer 2011.

David has reportedly become worried that his wife is so busy she has lost her appetite. This was apparently particularly clear when the pair dined out with friends in London recently.

"While everyone else around her enjoyed big steaks, Victoria had the salmon tartare starter [which contained just 180 calories] as her main meal," the insider claimed.

"It looked ridiculous: literally a spoonful of salmon on the plate while everyone else tucked in."

The incident caused David to speak to Victoria, explaining she will run herself into the ground if she isn't careful.

"David thinks that Victoria could be pushing herself too hard," the source added. "He understands her passion for her career, but has told her that she should eat properly, as he's worried she's running on empty."
