The Northern Ireland accent isn't that hard to understand - is it?

This Morning viewers were left aghast on Thursday as a "dialect misunderstanding" made them think Belfast presenter Eamonn Holmes had said the c-word.

It came during a segment where Holmes along with co-presenter and wife Ruth Langsford and Rylan Clark Neal were disussing model Kate Moss's holiday picture.

They were trying to work out which of the two men she was standing beside was Count Nikolai von Bismarck.

Which prompted Eamonn to say: "The one on the right to me looks the Count. He just has that look about him."

Rylan then burst out laughing before they moved along.

However viewers were quick to speculate as to what had actually been said.

A This Morning source told a national newspaper: “Eamonn was clearly referring to Nikolai’s title. He was calling him a Count — it was a simple dialect misunderstanding.”
