Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden reckons viewers are finally getting to see the real Simon Cowell.
She claimed the presence of Little Britain star David Walliams on the judging panel had brought out a different side of the show's supremo.
The mum-of-two said: "What I am enjoying more is that everyone is getting to see the Simon we have all known for years but he has never let the audience see. Someone who can laugh at himself and someone who has the weirdest and darkest sense of humour.
"He is literally snorting with laughter next to me every night. It's brilliant to see him happy."
The actress said she was also enjoying working with Alesha Dixon on the ITV1 show, after Simon poached her from her role on the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing.
Alesha herself said she would "love" to come back for the next series.
She said: "If I'm asked back I'd jump at the chance. I've loved all the banter between the judges and all the crazy dancing in our seats during performances. That never happened on Strictly Come Dancing.
"Britain's Got Talent is amazing. It's end-of-pier, crazy and credible. Acts like Ryan and The Loveable Rogues give the show a contemporary and cool feel. I've had the time of my life."
