Vince Vaughn expecting second child

Vince Vaughn’s wife Kayla is pregnant with their second child and is due to give birth on August 5.

The actor revealed his wife is pregnant again during a television show taping.

The 43-year-old announced that his spouse Kayla is almost six months along, meaning she will enter her final trimester soon.

"We’re expecting out second child,” he told a studio audience while record an episode of The Ellen Degeneres Show. “This is the first time I’ve said anything. We're very excited."

In the programme due to air on Monday, he also divulged an expected arrival date, explaining “She’s due August 5.”

The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Locklyn, in December 2010.

Vince and Kyla married in January that year.

“I met the best girl in the world,” he said around the time of wedding his spouse. “It gives you such a great purpose in my life. If I would’ve met her, I would’ve done it a long time ago.”

It comes as the Wedding Crashers star has purchased a house for $3.925 million in Los Angeles.

According to the Los Angeles Times he bought the property in La Cañada Flintridge and has actress Angela Bassett as a neighbour.

The Colonial-style home is placed on three-quarters of an acre of land with a swimming pool and a sports court.

The amenities of the five-bedroom, six-bathroom house is spread over 5,563 square feet.

Vince recently listed a three-level penthouse on top of the Palmolive Building in Chicago, Illinois for $16.8 million.
