Vogue Williams is too busy to attend Pippa Middleton's wedding

Vogue Williams has responded to claims she wasn't invited to Pippa Middleton's wedding by releasing a statement via her representative stating she is too busy to attend anyway.

Vogue Williams' spokesperson has hit back at claims the reality star wasn't invited to Pippa Middleton's upcoming wedding.

It was claimed that Vogue, who is dating Spencer Matthews, the brother of Pippa's husband-to-be James, wasn't on the guest list for the 20 May (17) nuptials because of the bride's "no ring no bring" policy. That would mean that Vogue and Prince Harry's girlfriend Meghan Markle didn't make the cut as they are currently still in the dating stage.

However, Vogue has now responded to these allegations via her spokesperson, who told OK! Online in a statement: "Vogue has a prior engagement in her diary on the date of the wedding, but wishes Pippa and James all the best on their special day."

The 31-year-old, who was previously married to Westlife singer Brian McFadden, struck up a romance with Spencer when they appeared on Channel 4 winter sports show The Jump together in January (17).

They remained silent over relationship rumours at the time, but confirmed their romance last month (Mar17), when they shared a shot of themselves kissing online.

The Sun then alleged that Pippa had indicated Vogue wouldn't be welcome at her wedding, with an insider telling the publication: "Pippa's view is that it wouldn't be appropriate for her to be there after a few months of dating. But some are shocked because her future brother-in-law will end up attending on his own. It's clear Pippa doesn't want to be outshone by any TV babes."

Two people who will be attending Pippa's big day are her sister Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge's children, Princess Charlotte and Prince George.

A representative for Prince William and Catherine's London residence, Kensington Palace, confirmed three-year-old Prince George will serve as a page boy, while little Charlotte, who turns two on 2 May (17), will be a bridesmaid.

It is not believed the Duchess will be a part of the bridal party, preferring instead to let her kids shine alongside their aunt, who caught the world's attention by wearing a figure-hugging Alexander McQueen dress as Catherine's maid of honour at her 2011 wedding to Prince William.
