Wahlberg: Ferrell’s humour comes from good place
Mark Wahlberg believes Will Ferrell’s “incredible genius” in is so apparent to people because “his humour comes from a good place”.
The actors worked alongside each other in 2010 action crime comedy The Other Guys.
Will is receiving a Comedic Genius Award at Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards.
Mark celebrates his colleague’s accolade, as he believes Will deserves ample love and praise.
"Will is obviously an incredible genius," Mark gushed.
"I had the honour of working with him on my first full comedic movie, and he encouraged me to be the moron that I am, and just have no fear — he's fearless.
"And what's great about Will is that his humour comes from a good place. A lot of comedians are actually mean, but with Will, it comes from a nice place. He just enjoys making people laugh."
Will is currently filming his highly anticipated Anchorman sequel in Atlanta.
The comedian reprises his role as inappropriate San Diego newscaster Ron Burgundy in the follow-up to his 2004 cult comedy Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.
Anchorman: The Legend Continues will be released around Christmastime.
