Walliams and mum on Millionaire

David Walliams will appear on TV alongside his mum

David Walliams is to appear in a live edition of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? for Mother's Day - alongside his mum.

It comes shortly after he was the one doing the grilling as the host of a 24-hour panel game marathon for Comic Relief.

The funnyman - accompanied by mum Kathleen - is one of three celebrities taking part in the special edition of Millionaire to be screened on Saturday on ITV1.

Also taking part are Patsy Palmer - partnered by her teenage son Charley - and singer Olly Murs, with his mum, Vicky.

They will be hoping to win money for charity, while some of the money will also be won by a viewer.

Olly Murs said: "I can't wait. I have no idea how much money we will make but I'm sure it's going to be a good laugh and I've got my fingers crossed that we raise lots of money for charity."
