Walters scared of Dr Who 'police'

Ashley Walters was delighted to work with Matt Smith on Doctor Who

Ashley Walters has confessed he is scared of even mentioning his role in the new series of Doctor Who, after getting in trouble with the show's producers on his first day.

The rapper-turned-actor has just finished filming with Doctor Who star Matt Smith in Cardiff to appear in an episode of the hit BBC show next year.

Ashley revealed: "I'm sworn to secrecy - I don't want to be killed by the Doctor Who police!

"I can't tell you anything about Doctor Who. I wasn't even allowed to tweet pictures or anything, I was really upset about that.

"I did tweet one picture in my trailer and I got in huge trouble with the producers on my first day so I'm not saying anything any more about it. But it was amazing working with Matt Smith for a few weeks."

Meanwhile, Ashley, 30, is making a return to music with new single Your Love, featuring Alesha Dixon, coming out next month.

And he has also been working as a director on a new TV pilot, which he is currently pitching to channels, but also plans to release as a short film.

Ashley, who starred in BBC show Hustle in 2007, said: "It's called The Charlatans. In a nutshell it's a mixture between Entourage and Hustle. Everyone was sad with the loss of Hustle, I know I was, I used to love it.

"So we've done a similar concept, but with a group of kids who go out and do a different con every episode, it's a really nice piece, really funny comedy, drama. It's good."

This is a good time to establish a routine. Create a schedule that strikes a nice balance between your personal and professional lives. You're the type of person who needs plenty of intellectual stimulation outside of work. If you've been spending too much time at the office, reduce your hours. This may mean less money, but you can't put a price on happiness. You might even decide to take a job with unconventional hours so you can play sports or spend more time outdoors.More
