Ward being 'erased' from X Factor
Shayne Ward has complained after he has been left out of the new X Factor advert.
The promotional video for the 2012 series of Simon Cowell's singing contest shows former winners and runners-up reminiscing over their time on the show and how it has changed their lives, with the slogan "Whose time is it now?"
Shayne took to Twitter to moan: "Just seen the new X Factor promo video. Yet again it's like I'm being erased slowly from their history. Pathetic really Would love to know why?"
Winners Little Mix, Alexandra Burke, Leona Lewis and even successful runners-up JLS, Olly Murs and One Direction all made it into the ad.
But former champions Shayne, Steve Brookstein, Leon Jackson, Joe McElderry and Matt Cardle have all been left out.
Coincidentally they have all been dropped by Simon Cowell's record label Syco.
Simon said earlier this year he had "wasted time" on the male flops who had won the show.
Shayne later tweeted: "Thank you to everyone who tweeted me nice messages. It just would've been nice to have been acknowledged. It was a big part of my life"
The 27-year-old singer, who won the second series of the show in 2005, is currently starring as Stacee Jaxx in the West End production of Rock Of Ages, and has received rave reviews.
He is thought to be beginning work on a new album when he finishes on the stage in September.
