Former Irish rugby captain Paul O'Connell showed he was not just brawn but plenty of brains during an appearance on the BBC's Question of Sport.

The ex-Munster captain was on the team of Phil Tufnell and fellow sporting legend AP McCoy.

In one round they were handed two words to guess.

With 'I' and 'G' added into the two word, 23 letter conundrum they were told it could be anything to do with sport.

And, like he has done many times in the past on the rugby field, Paul O'Connell stepped up to the plate to pull an unlikely win out of the bag.
