Way To Go axed after one series

Blake Harrison's controversial sitcom Way To Go has reportedly been axed by BBC Three.

The comedy followed Blake's character as part of a trio venturing into the euthanasia business, but has been cancelled after just one series according to British Comedy Guide.

Way To Go was written by Bob Kushell whose previous credits include Anger Management, 3rd Rock From The Sun and Samantha Who?.

Inbetweeners star Blake played Scott and Ben Heathcote was his brother Joey, with Nativity actor Marc Wootton as their close friend, Cozzo.

Writer Bob said he hadn't intended the sitcom to be controversial and had previously told Digital Spy: "The subject matter is really the background of what the show is about. The scripts deal with it in a very delicate way."

The series' viewing numbers peaked during its first episode at just 420,000.

BBC Three is expected to announce the return of prank show Impractical Jokers and has just launched its second batch of online comedy pilots called Comedy Feeds.
