Kanye West posted a mysterious date on his Twitter page, leading to speculation that June 18 is his pregnant girlfriend Kim Kardashian’s delivery day.
The rapper returned to Twitter on Thursday with a single post reading “June Eighteen”.
This has led to speculation that the cryptic message indicates the day his and Kim’s baby will be born.
This is Kanye’s first tweet since he deleted his entire Twitter account last October. It was re-tweeted 1000 times within 40 minutes.
Although Kim told The Today Show in January that her baby was expected to be born in July, the due date could in fact be earlier, according to The New York Post.
Sources have allegedly told the newspaper Kim and Kanye’s baby is expected in mid June. Apparently Kim was overheard confirming the news at a recent baby shower in Los Angeles.
However, Kanye’s cryptic post could also be a hint about the release of a new record or even a tour.
The rapper has been living in Paris where he has been working on his sixth studio album.
The so far untitled project follows on from Kanye’s critically acclaimed 2010 LP My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
He also released Watch The Throne back in 2011 with his friend, rapper Jay-Z.
Kim is currently in London after holidaying in the Greek islands with her family and spending a couple of days with Kanye in the French capital.
