Widdecombe snapped asleep on train

Anne Widdecombe was photographed fast asleep on a train

Ann Widdecombe showed that the strain of her gruelling regime on Strictly Come Dancing appeared to be taking its toll - after she was pictured fast asleep on a train.

The exhausted contestant and former MP, who last week delighted viewers with her version of the paso doble on the BBC One show, was pictured fast asleep on a London Overground train at Finsbury Park on Tuesday.

The 63-year-old former Minister, who has been rehearsing the fast-paced Charleston this week, was photographed in The Daily Mail with her head against the train window, her eyes firmly shut and her mouth wide open.

Despite being exhausted by the rigours of performing on the BBC show, Ann, who is partnered by Anton De Beke, is clearly enjoying herself.

She said recently: "That's the joy of Strictly. You find yourself doing things you'd never have imagined. When I do leave, I shall have stronger withdrawal symptoms than I ever get when I give up coffee in Lent."

Taurus:

An embarrassing secret will come to light, affecting your reputation. Somebody who once admired you will now turn away in dismay. Instead of trying to win their affection again, lay low for a wee while. You'll make a much better impression by letting your actions speak for themselves. There is a chance this relationship is beyond redemption. If your former friend decides to keep their distance, you will have no other choice than to respect their feelings. Better luck next time.More
