Wiig 'selling home'
Kristen Wiig is reportedly trying to unload her Manhattan apartment at a $1 million profit.
The 40-year-old Bridesmaids star is the owner of a top-floor unit in the city’s trendy SoHo neighbourhood.
But according to Celebuzz, Kristen is looking to offload the 1,400-square-foot property to the tune of $2.595 million.
The open floor plan residence reportedly has eastside and southside views facing the newly erected One World Trade Center tower and City Hall.
It also boasts 11-and-a-half-foot ceilings and six floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing plenty of natural light.
For foodies, the kitchen includes a Sub-Zero refrigerator, an Electrolux Icon professional range and microwave, a Waterstone Water Filtration System and butcher block countertops, according to the website.
The bedroom also comes with a walk-in closet, while the bathroom includes a rain shower and cast iron tub.
But potential home buyers won’t just have the multi-million price tag to worry about. Celebuzz reports the new owner will also be required to pay more than $830 a month for building maintenance.
Kristen could make quite a profit from the sale. She reportedly purchased the residence back in 2009 for $1.5 million.
Man Men star Alan Taylor was the previous owner.
Kristen’s attempt to sell comes about seven months after another big change for the star, who split from boyfriend Fabrizio Moretti back in July.
Reports suggested at the time the actress was having a hard time getting over The Strokes rocker.
"She's at a loss for what to do. She's become very withdrawn,” a source told America’s Star magazine the following month.
A source told Us Weekly at the time of their breakup the decision “was very amicable” and the pair “will remain friends”.
