Wilding wants X Factor final place
It could be second time lucky for X Factor wannabe John Wilding tonight when he finds out if he has made it to the final.
The Essex teenager, who lost out at the judge's houses stage last year, is left fighting it out with Frankie Cocozza for the final place in the live stage, with Gary Barlow in Los Angeles having to decide who goes through.
Wilding said: "I got sent home last year, it was a big decision to come back.
"I'm absolutely dreading what Gary has to say. Going home the first time and saying 'I've not done it' is hard, but going home the second is going to be a lot harder.
"You get to that point where it's so close, it's overwhelming. Regardless of what happens, this will be the last time I come for X Factor. I don't think I could put myself through it again."
The final 32 acts are being whittled down to 16 this weekend.
The groups are in Greece with Tulisa Contostavlos, Kelly Rowland has taken the girls to Miami and the over-25s are in Barcelona with Louis Walsh, who has mixed news for one contender.
He tells Kitty Brucknell she can "definitely sing" and praises her passion, but has a word of warning for her.
He said: "The thing that worries me is I think you will be a nightmare to work with."
