Wilkinson’s suicidal thoughts
Kendra Wilkinson opens up about her depression in an upcoming episode of Kendra on Top.
The reality TV star shares her inner-most thoughts upon discovering allegations husband Hank Baskett was unfaithful in her WE tv series Kendra on Top.
And in newly-released clips scheduled to air December 5, the former Playboy model admits her spiraling depression made her question her very existence.
"I was at a real low," People.com reports she tells the camera. "I even questioned my life.”
Kendra adds the couple’s children helped her keep it together.
The model and former American football player Hank share four-year-old Hank and six-month-old Alijah, and she credits the pair with forcing her to reevaluate her thinking.
“If it wasn't for breastfeeding Alijah, the bond I had with her, I feel like I would have probably ended my life. I felt like I'm not even supposed to be here,” she confessed.
Kendra has endured a troubled year, both in her marriage and with her own parents.
She recently reunited on camera with her father, Eric, after two decades of estrangement.
The star later credited her dad with helping her through her marital problems, despite RadarOnline reporting her mother's disapproval earlier this year.
"Every single year I think about my dad," Kendra explained to People.com. "I wondered, 'Do I want to go reunite with him on camera?' Before this drama happened, my dad said he would rather do this in private. But when this scandal hit with Hank, he called me right away and was like, 'Bring the cameras,’” she recalled.
"If it wasn't for this mess with Hank, I would have never had the courage and the strength to go to my dad,” she continued. “I hadn't seen him in 20 years, but I had no fear anymore. And I couldn't be more proud of myself. I am so excited that I did that for myself as a human being.”
