Belfast Telegraph hosts Mother's Day tea goes from Black Eyed Peas to high teas as he hosts a Mother's Day treat ahead of this weekend's semi-final of The Voice.

Will hosted an afternoon treat at the Savoy Hotel for the mothers of the remaining members of his team on the talent show ahead of Mothering Sunday.

Singing hopefuls Jermain Jackman and Sophie-May Williams were taken for tea by their coach on the BBC One series, and were then stunned to see their mothers were also joining the party.

Sophie-May had never left her hometown of Wakefield, West Yorkshire, for any length of time until she headed off to take part in the show, so she found the reunion with mother Debbie Pearman an emotional experience. Jermain was reunited with his mother Hellen as they tucked into their scones.

Will's contestants go up against each other on Saturday's show, bidding for a place in the final a week later.

Fellow coaches Kylie Minogue, Sir Tom Jones and Ricky Wilson will also have their remaining contestants performing for a place.
