Will.i.am: Kylie great on The Voice

Will.i.am has revealed that Kylie Minogue is a great addition to The Voice.

The Australian pop star has joined the BBC singing show alongside Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson, with returning judges Will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones for the third series, which will begin in January 2014.

"She is amazing. I love being around her on the show," he told Heat.

Will.i.am predicted that the final would come down to Tom and Kylie, saying: "It will be Kylie versus Tom Jones."

The Black Eyed Peas frontman said Kylie has brought a touch of Down Under to the set.

"Kylie said that the Australians have a chant that goes, 'Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, oi, oi, oi'. And apparently in Wales, they say, 'Oggie, Oggie, Oggie'. Kylie was shocked. I was shocked," he added.

Will.i.am said there were never any doubts that he wouldn't return to the judging panel.

"I really like the show and it's a different take on talent competitions, because I think the coaches are more attached to their teams," he said.

"I'm still coaching the people I've worked with. It's hard to detach yourself. I can't be like, 'The season's over, see you later'. I really have to give it my all, even after the cameras are off."
