Will.i.am says he's more of a technology geek than a fashion icon

Will.i.am has said he is too much of a geek to bring out his own fashion range.

The Black Eyed Peas star attended the Burberry show at London Fashion Week wearing a bow tie and a Burberry trench coat with black trim, clutching his computer under one arm. He said he loves clothes, but he is focused on technology.

Will said: "I'm a tech head, I'm a geek. I love clothes, I dabble and make things for myself, whether or not I want to have it in stores... that's cool, I really want to get my technology out. I'm a tech guy.

"I figured you have to pick one. I picked my one for the past 14 years and it's done me right, so now I wanna focus on my next one thing I'm gonna pick."

The music producer revealed he has a 'style partner' who he works with to pick outfits, and revealed they compete to find the best clothes.

Will said: "A lot of time he wins, because that's what he does, and if he can't get things he makes things."

Other stars on the Burberry front row included Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Clemence Poesy, Kate Bosworth and Birdsong actor Eddie Redmayne.

Eddie said: "Birdsong was set in the First World War and the trench coat came about because Burberry managed to create a fibre that was waterproof. The army commissioned Burberry to make all these trench coats, so I think there is heritage and something English about it that fascinates me."

Your Horoscopes by Russell Grant

Pisces:

It's sometimes difficult for a retiring person like you to showcase your talent. You are tired of being eclipsed by pushy rivals. By showing your work to the right people, you can finally gain the fame and acclaim you deserve. Fortunately, an influential friend, neighbour or colleague can set up an interview or introduction. An important executive or critic will be impressed by your efforts. If you're offered an unpaid position as an intern or apprentice, take it. This will lead to professional opportunities you couldn't find through other channels.More
