Wilson: My son's a scene stealer

Owen Wilson's son could end up stealing the limelight from his famous father

Owen Wilson has revealed his six-week-old son already has stage presence.

Baby Robert Ford has yet to grab a speaking role, but is definitely upstaging his 42-year-old dad.

"He's not... a wonderful conversationalist at this point, but he kind of doesn't have to be, he's so cute - he becomes sort of a little scene stealer when he comes in the room," the actor told US talk show host Jay Leno on The Tonight Show.

Proud dad Owen is already comparing his son, who is going by his middle name Ford, to a screen legend.

"[He's like] Steve McQueen in The Magnificent Seven, where he didn't have a lot of dialogue. You just kind of gave him the camera and he was able to hold the screen," he joked. "I feel like Ford is heading in that direction."

The actor, who next stars in Hall Pass with Jason Sudeikis and Christina Applegate, admitted that while fatherhood is exciting, it is also tiring.

"What they say about newborns, about [the parents] not getting a lot of sleep? That's true. You look at every place now as a potential nap place... You've got to look for your chances to catch up," he added.

Asked whether Ford looks more like Wilson or his girlfriend, Jade Duell, the actor joked: "Who he really looks like at this point is other babies."

Gemini:

This is a good time to establish a routine. Create a schedule that strikes a nice balance between your personal and professional lives. You're the type of person who needs plenty of intellectual stimulation outside of work. If you've been spending too much time at the office, reduce your hours. This may mean less money, but you can't put a price on happiness. You might even decide to take a job with unconventional hours so you can play sports or spend more time outdoors.More
