Witherspoon: I’m so much fun!
Reese Witherspoon delights in having a good time.
The 38-year-old actress dances fervently to Gloria Gaynor’s 1978 disco hit I Will Survive while attending a wedding event in Italy Wednesday in a video published by TMZ that went viral.
And Reese thinks it’s wonderful she was caught on camera having a good time.
“I have to say I am a lot of fun to hang out with,” the star told Entertainment Weekly, noting she had no idea the video became so popular with the public. “People go, ‘You’re really fun!’ And I’m like, ‘Was I not fun before?’ I like to have fun and I enjoy it, man. I would wanna sit next to me at an awards show!’”
Reese has become a bit of a viral video sensation in recent months. In May she was filmed slurring out a mispronunciation of model Cara Delevingne’s name while in an elevator at the Met Gala.
The Oscar-winning actress spent much of the evening with the 22-year-old British model at the annual event as they were both wearing outfits by designer Stella McCartney. As well as posing together for photographs on the red carpet, Cara also uploaded videos from inside the event.
“The confusion @reesewitherspoon @zooeydeschanel @tennesseebunny @kateupton #HAHAHAHA #loveyouladies," the supermodel wrote alongside the first video she posted on her Instagram account.
The clip shows Reese and fellow actresses Zooey Deschanel, Kate Upton and Tennessee Thomas huddled together in a lift. They all soon start joking about how to pronounce Cara’s unusual surname.
“If you force me to say your last name, I'll be f**ked,” Reese is heard joking.
Weeks after this occurred, Reese was filmed singing onstage with country musician Kenny Chesney at the House of Blues in New Orleans during a charity bash hosted by Matthew McConaughey for the Drew Brees foundation. Apparently she paid $24,000 to have a duet with him that evening and the clip of her performance with Kenny also became a big online hit with fans.
