Tiger Woods and Lindsay Vonn are to walk down the red carpet together for the first time at the 2013 Met Gala.

The shamed golf star is planning to walk down the red carpet with his new love at the event on May 6 2013, according to Us Weekly.

Apparently the pair are ready to put their romance in the public eye and will debut their relationship in public at the star-studded event in New York.

Tiger and his Olympic gold medal-winning partner will attend as guests of Vogue magazine.

The publication is also dressing both athletes but it is not known in which designer brands they will show up yet.

Other celebrities set to join their company include Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Alba, Kristen Stewart, Jessica Biel, and Jennifer Lawrence.

Tiger, 37, and Lindsay, 28, confirmed their relationship on Facebook in March.

"I guess it wasn't a well-kept secret but yes, I am dating Tiger Woods," she wrote on the social networking website after months of speculation.

"Our relationship evolved from a friendship into something more over these past few months, and it has made me very happy."

She and fellow skier Thomas Vonn ended their four-year marriage in November 2011.

Tiger broke up with Elin Nordegren in 2010 after a massive cheating scandal which involved a string of women.

"Lindsey and I have been friends for some time, but over the last few months we have become close and are now dating,” he added. “We want to continue our relationship, privately, as an ordinary couple."

Your dry humour will be very popular. It's always difficult bringing a large group of people together. Everybody feels like they are walking on eggshells. After cracking a few jokes, you'll put the group at ease. Resist the temptation to make fun of relatives, especially the more sensitive members of the group. Nobody likes feeling singled out. Watching a light hearted comedy can also be a great way to generate a festive atmosphere. This is a time when people can put their differences aside.More
