X Factor fans to choose next songs

X Factor fans will get to choose their favourite songs for the next episode.

The public will be given the opportunity to pick a track for the five acts to perform on the quarter-final live show.

The final five - Tamera Foster, Rough Copy, Sam Bailey, Nicholas McDonald and Luke Friend - will each sing two songs. The first will be a track by their musical hero, while the second song will be selected by TV viewers from a choice of three.

Tamera's options include Roberta Flack's The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, Maxwell's rendition of This Woman's Work and The Bee Gees' hit Emotion.

Rough Copy, who survived the sing-off opposite eliminated teenager Hannah Barrett, will get the choice of singing Boyz II Men's End Of The Road, R Kelly's I Believe I Can Fly and If You Ever by Gabrielle and East 17.

Luke's choices include Simon and Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Water, Tracy Chapman's Baby Can I Hold You and Elbow's One Day Like This, while his fellow 'boy' Nicholas McDonald will sing either Bruno Mars' Just The Way You Are, Lonestar's Amazed or The Prayer by Josh Groban and Celine Dion.

Sam Bailey, Sharon Osbourne's final 'over 25' act, will get to show off her lungs with Mariah Carey's Without You, Emeli Sande's Clown or Mike And The Mechanics' The Living Years.

Fans can cast their votes until 9pm tonight (November 25) through The X Factor app, which is free to download.
