X Factor contender Kitty Brucknell is no stranger to the spotlight after appearing on television and radio shows around the world in her quest for fame.
The singer, who got through to the bootcamp stage of the ITV1 talent show after impressing the judges with her version of Lady Gaga's Edge Of Glory, is reported to have appeared on more than 30 shows.
The 26-year-old has appeared in minor roles on Sky's Pineapple Dance Studios, Channel 4's Wedding House and Dinner Date on ITV, and on shows in Australia and Romania, the Sun reported.
Writing on her Facebook page, Kitty said appearing on The X Factor "can change lives in a big way".
She said: "I'm giving this my best shot and if it doesn't work, at least I tried and didn't sit at home for another year watching the TV and wishing I was on the show."
Kitty, from Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, whose Facebook page said she wants to bring back "big fun girly pop", has also performed as a Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera tribute act.
It was reported yesterday that she had worked as a honeytrap for a private detective agency.
