X Factor's Nick Grimshaw hails Rita Ora's kissing after Glastonbury embrace
X Factor judge Nick Grimshaw confessed that Rita Ora is a "wonderful" kisser, after admitting the two shared an embrace at the Glastonbury Festival in 2013.
Grimshaw was confronted on his Radio 1 show with a clip from this week's Xtra Factor show where fellow judge Ora claimed he "completely shut me down" when she tried to kiss him.
He set the record straight with his own version of events which included the pair sharing a bed in a caravan at the festival and kissing as they watched the Rolling Stones.
"We were sharing a caravan - me, Rita and a few of our friends - and there was one room in there which had a double bed and we shared the double bed. Over the course of the weekend, we got closer and closer," Grimshaw, 31, admitted.
He said the pair had gone to watch the Rolling Stones perform with their coupled-up friends and one thing led to another during a romantic moment in the band's set.
"Then we all went to watch the Rolling Stones and we ended up watching it with all our friends who were in relationships. There's flares going off, everyone's cuddling, and we were like, 'Why don't we have boyfriends?' So we decided to get off with each other for a bit," the openly gay radio host explained.
Grimshaw said the pair used tongues, admitting, "I don't know how to (kiss) without tongues!" Although he joked that he didn't have much choice in the matter, saying: "She doesn't take no for an answer."
When asked if there'd been any physical contact since, Grimshaw teased: "No kisses since, no. But who knows? She's single now."
Grimshaw, who juggles his judging duties with hosting The BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw every weekday morning, promised that the "full story" would come out on this weekend's show.
Ora, 24, has been single since July, after splitting up with her boyfriend Ricky Hil - the 25-year-old son of designer Tommy Hilfiger.
